PayScope EU

Privacy notice

Accounts and backend

PayScope EU does not offer user accounts or keep an application database of calculator entries. Pages and data are delivered by Netlify; some routes are prerendered and others can be rendered by the hosting platform. Netlify may process standard request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, time and response status for security, delivery and operational logging.

Calculator inputs

Calculator arithmetic runs in your browser and PayScope does not save entries to a user profile or application database. To make results reproducible and shareable, some settings are written to the page query string. A full URL can therefore be sent to the hosting provider when the page is loaded or reloaded and may appear in browser history, server logs, referrer data or a link you share. Do not enter sensitive personal information.

Assets

Page assets and public Eurostat-derived JSON files are served through Netlify's hosting and content-delivery network. Netlify may retain request and security logs under its own terms and privacy documentation. PayScope does not use the public data files to identify visitors.

Analytics and advertising

PayScope EU may display ads through Google AdSense on some pages. When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners can use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent choice; if personalised advertising is declined, only non-personalised ads are served. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

PayScope can load a separately configured, privacy-focused traffic-measurement script. When enabled, its provider receives page-view and interaction information according to that provider's configuration. Calculator arithmetic still runs locally, subject to the shareable-URL behaviour described above.
